WHO ARE JRDF?

JRDF are a rapidly growing family business, based in Scotland. We take digital assets from the gaming or TV/film industries and recreate them in real life for events and offices or as bespoke merchandise. We manufacture everything from small models that sit in the palm of your hand to immersive office spaces that really feel like you're in another world.

The magic makeryness takes place at our workshop in Elvanfoot, South Lanarkshire (Scotland). We are proud to be a Made in Britain manufacturing company, with all of our merchandise carrying the Made in Britain mark.

JR & Kals started on this journey in 2017 and couldn't have got through the last five years without incredible support from friends, family and contractors. 2023 see's them levelling up by recruiting for numerous full time roles. The Elvanfoot Team

The Elvanfoot Team are the JRDF boots on the ground: designing, building and installing.

Kals

With a background in investor relations, social media and brand management, Kals left the corporate world of a FTSE100 company to become a mental health nurse. She now supports JR in building JRD+F and is responsible for keeping everyone else on track and on budget, client’s and team included.

She’s a crafty (in more ways than one) crazy cat lady, changes her hair colour as often as the weather, loves coffee and anything that involves a needle (from crochet to tattoos).

JR

JR was bored in his old job; all white walls and square tradestands so he built the Star Citizen Artek GSS locker model in his spare time, took it to the fan convention BritizenCon 2017, and JRD+F was born.

He loves the challenge of building things that have never been built before and when he isn’t working on the next crazy project he’s thinking about it!

Any time off involves watching sci-fi with the cats and dream shopping for his next Land Rover.
